We’re looking for a Resident Automation Technician to support the daily operations of an advanced production and logistics site operated by a leading company in the beverage industry, located in Rotterdam. The facility relies on state-of-the-art automation to sustain high production standards and ensure efficient distribution across the market.
Job Responsibility:
Perform electromechanical corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on the equipment
Carry out electromechanical preventive maintenance in accordance with maintenance plans
Report on system performance and performed activities (including anomalies and corrective actions) to the Customer and E80 Group
Build and maintain a strong relationship between the Customer and E80 Group based on trust, daily commitment, technical results and equipment’s reliability
Organize periodic meetings on E80 Group’s system performance with the Customer’s representatives
Conduct periodic on-the-job training for the Customer’s personnel
Promote improvement activities, modifications, and extensions to the system or equipment, co-supervised by the Direct Manager and in agreement with the Area Manager
Manage spare parts on-site, suggesting reorder points and purchases as needed
Organize and manage the maintenance area, tools, and equipment provided by E80 Group and/or the Customer
Requirements:
Technical qualification in the electromechanical field or industrial automation
Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
3–5 years of experience as an electromechanical or transfer technician, electrician or automation technician, ideally within manufacturing environments or automated industrial plants
Ability to perform electromechanical work at heights and in confined spaces (after completing specific training)
Desire to make a difference and daily represent E80 Group in front of the Customer
English (advanced or native level) with excellent communication skills
Strong autonomy and proactivity
Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Curiosity about learning new technologies
Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
National Electrical certificate
Valid driver’s license and car owner
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Siemens PLC, Beckhoff, Allen Bradley, or Rockwell
Fluency in Dutch, both spoken and written
