Job Description

As a Resident Advisor, you will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm on a rota basis, as part of a collaborative and supportive on-site team. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, safe and engaging environment for our residents. This includes organising social events, managing both digital (social media) and traditional communications, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Acting as the first point of contact for residents, delivering excellent customer service via email, phone and face-to-face
  • Creating a vibrant community through events and resident engagement initiatives
  • Supporting reception duties, including welcoming residents and visitors
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, including processing rental payments accurately
  • Building strong relationships with residents, colleagues and the wider team
  • Helping ensure the smooth and efficient running of the building

  • Organising events and open days for prospective and current residents
  • Covering the main reception during office hours, this will include sorting the mail
  • Be the face of Fresh for residents! Liaising with them on a regular basis making sure that residents feel supported and valued
  • Undertaking viewings with potential residents, providing them with the up-to-date information relevant to their query
  • Receiving and processing payments, and monitoring / chasing rent arrears when necessary
  • Filing and maintaining customer data, ensuring the database is up to date and within GDPR regulations
  • Liaising with the maintenance and accommodation team to ensure any issues are logged and resolved promptly
