Job Description

As our Residency Program RN, you will function as a direct clinical care registered nurse, developing essential knowledge, skills, and behaviors as you transition into practice. You are expected to achieve appropriate competency across all core and functional areas. Job Responsibility

  • Function as a direct clinical care registered nurse, developing essential knowledge, skills, and behaviors as you transition into practice
  • Achieve appropriate competency across all core and functional areas

  • Actively engage in clinical performance improvement and ensure patient safety

  • Perform complete patient assessment
  • Recognize significant changes in patient status and seek appropriate resources
  • Coordinate or collect physiologic monitoring data: vital signs, monitor results, lab and diagnostic test results
  • Perform ongoing assessment according to unit policy
  • Document assessment in compliance with hospital policy

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 9 months
