Job Description

Coordinates all aspects of the residency program for the Dept. of Anesthesiology.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinates all aspects of the residency program including organization and development of resident applicant interview process
  • Coordinates monthly resident evaluations
  • Organizes and maintains residents and graduates' files
  • Schedules formal evaluation sessions between resident and residency director
  • Assists during the periodic reapplication process to the national accreditation council
  • Completes all resident and program data forms
  • Liaison Between residents and faculty
  • Assists residents with applications for permanent medical licensure and board examination certifications

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5 years experience in graduate medical education with knowledge of the NRMP and ERAS programs
  • Accreditation in respective programs completed/or eligible

  • Maintain accurate immigration records in HRIS and immigration case management systems
  • Monitor visa expiration reports and assist with timely initiation of extensions, amendments, and employment reverifications (including I‑9 updates)
  • Assist with preparation of visa support letters and required immigration forms
  • Support PERM and permanent residence processes by coordinating documentation and recruitment efforts as directed
  • Track and maintain Public Access Files and other compliance-related documentation
  • Assist with drafting communications and responding to employee inquiries regarding case status and required documentation
