Position at The West Hollywood EDITION Residences. Greet and assist guests with luggage, information, and transportation while maintaining professional standards and safety.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and escort guests to rooms
Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property
Inform guests of property amenities, services, hours, and local areas of interest
Identify and explain room features to guests
Transport guest luggage to/from rooms and bell area
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
Assist guests/visitors in/out of vehicles and with loading/unloading luggage
Supply guests with directions
Arrange transportation for guests/visitors
Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property
Maintain clean, professional uniform and appearance
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Speak using clear, professional language
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Comply with quality assurance expectations
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
Ability to move at a speed required to respond to work situations
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or entire shift
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing ≤50 lbs without assistance and >75 lbs with assistance
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs/ramps
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, stooping
