Job Responsibility:
Schedule maintenance of the systems to maintain the integrity of the facility boiler systems, pumps, ventilation systems, plumbing, water and sewage systems, the Energy Management System (EMS) and other building components
Facilitate the use of appropriate service manuals, technical manuals and blueprints during preventive maintenance, repair or replacement of systems or components
Adhere to sound engineering practices, building codes, and follow safety precautions
Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as changing light bulbs in the common areas and amenity spaces, patching holes in walls, and painting, changing air conditioning filters, washing the common area carpets
Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities
Communicate with Director of Residences/Residences Manager when necessary to resolve maintenance issues
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
Adhere to quality expectations and standards
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds
Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
Requirements:
Technical, Trade or Vocational School Degree
3 years of related work experience
Supervisory experience
First Class Stationary Engineer’s Operating License
