Job Description:

Resettlement Worker - Supporting Women at Risk of Homelessness. We are looking for a Resettlement Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred support to women experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by helping residents rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support women to access accommodation, education, training, and employment opportunities
  • Deliver wellbeing and empowerment programmes to encourage independence
  • Work closely with residents to develop personalised resettlement plans
  • Provide practical and emotional support to help women move towards independent living
  • Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies

Requirements:

  • Is empathetic, patient, and reliable
  • Has experience supporting vulnerable adults or in a similar social care role (desirable but not essential)
  • Can work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Is passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives
