Job Description:

Student Actuaries needed for a Reserving Analyst at one of the largest commercial lines insurers in the world.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work alongside some of the most talented actuaries, as well as liaising with other areas of the business, including Pricing, Finance and Underwriting
  • Involved in collating the quarterly reserving and panning exercises across multiple LoB and assist in the communication of the financial risk and its consequences
  • Developing and automating the reserving and financial reporting processes within the team as well as the wider Reserving and Capital teams

Requirements:

  • Have experience in general insurance
  • Are a part qualified actuary or actively studying
  • Have high numeracy skills
  • Good programming (SQL, R, VBA)
  • Are enthusiastic and driven
