As the Reservations Manager at Dining at Glyndebourne, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest journey from the very first interaction. Working at this renowned destination for opera and fine dining, you will lead the reservations function, ensuring seamless service, accuracy, and outstanding guest experience throughout the season and festival periods. You will oversee and develop the reservations team, manage booking systems and guest communications, and support the wider hospitality operation to ensure every visit is perfectly planned. This is a hands-on, on-site role where attention to detail, organisation, and a passion for hospitality are essential.
Job Responsibility:
Leading, training, and developing the reservations team to deliver a first-class guest booking experience
Managing all reservations systems, enquiries, and allocations across dining and hospitality services
Overseeing daily booking operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
Collaborating closely with operations and events teams to align reservations with service delivery
Handling VIP and high-profile guest bookings with professionalism and discretion
Monitoring demand, forecasting covers, and supporting capacity planning during peak season
Maintaining guest data integrity and ensuring compliance with company policies and data protection standards
Continuously improving processes to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Experience in a Reservations Manager or Senior Reservations role within hospitality, restaurants, events, or visitor attractions
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of bookings and enquiries
Proven experience leading and developing a small team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach
High attention to detail and strong administrative capability
Confidence using reservations and booking management systems
Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
