Job Responsibility:
Responsible for managing the reservations department and ensuring smooth operations
Actively solicit and manage reservation and group housing sales opportunities to drive revenue
Maximize revenue through effective up-selling of every booking opportunity
Ensure excellent guest service and loyalty through service excellence
Prepare and maintain offers, contracts, and booking confirmations
Monitor forecast data and group reservations
Control no-shows, waitlists, and accurate billing instructions
Collaborate closely with Sales, Front Office, and Convention Services
Lead, motivate, and train the reservations and group housing team including scheduling
Requirements:
Completed education or degree in hospitality, tourism, or similar field
Several years of experience in reservations, ideally with leadership responsibility
Solid understanding of market trends, revenue management, and F&B offerings
Strong communication and sales skills in German and English
Proficient in Opera and MS Office
Hands-on mentality, organizational talent, and passion for leading a team
Nice to have:
Ideally, you already have experience working with the Opera hotel system
