The Reservations Intern supports the Reservations Department in managing guest bookings and ensuring seamless communication throughout the reservation process. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in guest relations, hotel systems, and operational coordination within a luxury hospitality environment. Working closely with the Reservations team, the intern helps deliver a service experience that reflects the high standards and personalization that define Four Seasons.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in processing guest reservations accurately and efficiently
Communicate with guests via phone, email, and other platforms to confirm, modify, or cancel bookings
Provide guests with information on rates, room categories, and available promotions
Support the management of reservation systems, ensuring all data is entered and updated correctly
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth coordination and ensure all guest preferences are met
Assist with daily inventory checks and identify discrepancies or booking issues
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all guest communications
Learn the core principles of luxury guest service and reservation management
Requirements:
Student currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field
Genuine enthusiasm for guest service and curiosity about the hospitality industry
Clear written and verbal communication skills, in English and Spanish
Accuracy in handling reservation data, guest preferences, and system updates
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards
Positive, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to take initiative and learn
Ability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure a smooth guest experience
Availability to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Positive attitude, reliability, adaptability, a strong sense of responsibility and a proactive work attitude
