As a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests. Your role is to ensure every reservation enquiry is handled professionally, efficiently, and with genuine hospitality. You will manage bookings across multiple channels, support revenue optimisation, and work closely with the Front Office and Revenue teams to maximise occupancy and guest satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with front office or reservations experience who wants to develop their career within hotel reservations, revenue management, or hospitality operations.
Job Responsibility:
Manage hotel reservations via phone, email, and online booking channels
Accurately input and manage reservations using Opera PMS
Provide guests with detailed information about hotel rooms, facilities, and services
Ensure all bookings are processed efficiently and correctly
Handle modifications, cancellations, and special guest requests
Upsell room categories and hotel services where appropriate
Maintain a high standard of guest communication and customer service
Work closely with the Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to optimise occupancy
Monitor booking trends and assist with revenue opportunities where required
Ensure all reservations procedures and policies are followed
Requirements:
Previous experience in hotel reservations, front office, or hospitality reception
Experience using Opera PMS or similar hotel booking systems
Strong customer service and guest communication skills
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy when managing bookings
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Strong telephone and email communication skills
A positive and team-focused attitude
Nice to have:
Experience working within a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment
Knowledge of hotel revenue practices and room inventory management
