Reservations Agent Job at Flockhill Lodge (Christchurch Central)

Job Description

We're looking for a Reservations Agent to join our team in a full-time, Tuesday to Saturday role based in Christchurch. Reporting to the Reservations Lead, you'll be the engine behind our day-to-day bookings — managing enquiries, processing reservations, and making sure every guest detail is accurate and accounted for across our Homestead, Villas, Sugarloaf and Activities. You'll work closely with the wider Flockhill team — from our Financial Controller to our Activities and Food & Beverage Managers — to ensure guest information flows seamlessly and nothing falls through the cracks. This is a role for someone who takes pride in getting the details right, communicates with warmth and professionalism, and genuinely enjoys being part of delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Job Responsibility

Be the engine behind our day-to-day bookings — managing enquiries, processing reservations, and making sure every guest detail is accurate and accounted for across our Homestead, Villas, Sugarloaf and Activities
Work closely with the wider Flockhill team — from our Financial Controller to our Activities and Food & Beverage Managers — to ensure guest information flows seamlessly and nothing falls through the cracks

Requirements

Previous experience in reservations, front office, or guest services
Strong written and verbal communication skills — you represent the Flockhill brand from first contact
Exceptional eye for detail
A naturally organised approach with sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities
Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office
A warm, professional manner with a genuine focus on the guest experience
Experience in luxury hospitality or knowledge of RMS, Opera, or similar systems is required
