Step into the Reservations Agent role (Part-time 4 days) at Moxy & Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam, part of Marriott Hotels & Resorts. You´re the friendly first voice our guests hear, the one who makes booking a stay smooth and stress-free. This property is managed by Vertiq Hospitality Partners, formerly known as Cycas Hospitality, established in 2008. Job Responsibility

Handle all incoming reservations via phone, email, and online channels in line with Marriott standards
Process individual, corporate, and group bookings, ensuring accuracy of details and payment methods
Respond to guest inquiries, upsell rooms and packages, and promote hotel services to maximize revenue
Collaborate with Sales & Revenue to monitor availability, rates, and special offers
Ensure accurate entry and management of reservations in the PMS and distribution systems
Communicate effectively with Front Office, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth arrivals and stays
Handle reservation modifications, cancellations, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
Assist with daily reports, forecasting, and revenue tracking when required

Requirements

Previous experience in Reservations or Front Office is preferred
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Dutch and other languages are an advantage
Knowledge of Opera PMS and Marriott systems is highly desirable
Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
Problem solving ability and stress resistance
