The Reservations Agent is responsible for providing exceptional service while efficiently handling all guest room reservations, inquiries, and requests. This position plays a key role in ensuring a positive first impression for future guests by offering accurate information, professional communication, and a genuine commitment to service. The Reservations Agent upholds Dellshire Resort’s standards of hospitality and assists in maximizing room revenue through effective selling techniques and attention to detail.
Job Responsibility:
Answer incoming calls, emails, and online reservation inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
Accurately process reservations, changes, and cancellations according to resort policies and procedures
Promote the resort’s amenities, special offers, and packages to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue
Provide detailed information about room types, rates, availability, and resort facilities
Maintain accurate records of all reservations and guest communications within the property management system
Communicate special requests and booking details to appropriate departments
Work closely with the Front Office and Sales teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and accurate room inventory
Assist with group reservations, corporate bookings, and travel agency inquiries as needed
Verify and process payment information accurately and securely
Follow all reservation policies regarding guarantees, deposits, no-shows, and cancellations
Handle guest concerns and escalations professionally, ensuring prompt resolution or referral to leadership
Uphold Dellshire Resort’s brand standards, service values, and commitment to excellence
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
hospitality or business coursework preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel or resort reservations, front desk, or customer service role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (Opera, SynXis, or similar)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by business needs
