As a Reservations Agent, you will play an important role in supporting our guests before they even arrive at the hotel. You will ensure all reservations are handled efficiently and accurately while delivering excellent customer service and maximising revenue opportunities. Reporting directly into the Reservations Manager you will be Working closely with all hotel departments, mainly the Reception team. This role is on a permanent, part time, 24 hour per week basis.
Job Responsibility:
Reservations Management: handle incoming reservation enquiries via phone, email and online channels, ensuring all bookings are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Guest Communication: deliver professional and friendly communication with guests, travel agents and corporate clients, assisting with queries, booking requests and special requirements
System Accuracy: maintain accurate reservation records within the hotel management system, ensuring guest information, billing details and booking notes are correctly updated
Attention to Detail: review reservations daily to ensure accuracy, manage amendments or cancellations efficiently and monitor upcoming arrivals
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable, but not essential as full on the job training will be provided
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Additional language proficiency is a bonus
A passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel management systems
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our hotel operates 24/7
