Job Description

The Dinex Group, restaurant group of internationally acclaimed Chef Daniel Boulud, is looking for a Reservationist to join the centralized reservationist team! As a Restaurant Reservationist you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our dining reservations. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and organized flow of reservations, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our restaurant operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation system
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and floor staff to ensure efficient seating arrangements
  • Provide information about the menu, special events, and restaurant policies
  • Address customer concerns and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Collaborate with other team members to relay important information regarding reservations and special requests
  • Communicate effectively with guests to confirm, modify, or cancel reservations
  • Handle reservation conflicts and find suitable solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Alert management to any issues that may affect the guest experience
  • Promote special promotions, events, and additional services to guests during reservation interactions

Requirements

  • 1 year experience in a Reservations role required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve issues calmly
  • Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service
