The Dinex Group, restaurant group of internationally acclaimed Chef Daniel Boulud, is looking for a Reservationist to join the centralized reservationist team! As a Restaurant Reservationist you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our dining reservations. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and organized flow of reservations, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our restaurant operations.
Job Responsibility
Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms
Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation system
Coordinate with the kitchen and floor staff to ensure efficient seating arrangements
Provide information about the menu, special events, and restaurant policies
Address customer concerns and ensure a positive dining experience
Collaborate with other team members to relay important information regarding reservations and special requests
Communicate effectively with guests to confirm, modify, or cancel reservations
Handle reservation conflicts and find suitable solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
Alert management to any issues that may affect the guest experience
Promote special promotions, events, and additional services to guests during reservation interactions
Requirements
1 year experience in a Reservations role required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve issues calmly
Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills
A passion for providing outstanding customer service
