Job Description:

Responsible for soliciting and managing reservations sales-related opportunities at JW Marriott Phuket Chalong Bay Resort & Spa. Manages and provides training to Reservations Sales staff, actively up-sells to maximize revenue, and achieves personal and team revenue goals while driving customer loyalty through service excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Solicit and manage reservations sales-related opportunities
Manage and provide training to Reservations Sales staff
Actively up-sell each business opportunity to maximize revenue
Achieve personal and team related revenue goals
Drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence
Identify new reservations sales business
Understand overall market and competitors
Close best opportunities for the property
Monitor same day selling procedures
Respond to incoming reservations sales opportunities
Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities
Coordinate with sales and Convention Services
Execute operational aspects of business booked
Track no-show reservations and process charges
Manage wait list and prioritize contacts
Provide exceptional customer service
Handle guest complaints and disputes
Monitor reservations sales agents
Develop and implement departmental orientation programs
Create monthly labor scheduling

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
no work experience required
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
