Job Description

Responsible for soliciting and managing reservations sales-related opportunities at JW Marriott Phuket Chalong Bay Resort & Spa. Manages and provides training to Reservations Sales staff, actively up-sells to maximize revenue, and drives customer loyalty through service excellence.

  • Execute operational aspects of business booked
  • Track no-show reservations and process charges
  • Manage wait list and prioritize contacts
  • Prepare work and maintenance orders
  • Handle guest complaints and disputes
  • Monitor reservations sales agents
  • Develop and maintain departmental orientation program
  • Create monthly labor scheduling for team

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major

  • Manage room and rate availability to maximize occupancy and revenue, using strategic forecasting and analysis
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to manage group bookings, ensuring accurate tracking of files, cut-off dates, and special requirements
  • Oversee daily operations including handling VIP bookings, return guest preferences, and special requests
  • Control and analyze daily pick-up, cancellations, no-shows, and sources of reservations to guide business decisions
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly occupancy and revenue forecasts
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely distribution of reservation confirmations and guest communication
  • Resolve guest concerns and billing disputes with professionalism and discretion
  • Ensure all staff are trained in hotel services, room categories, and upselling techniques to enhance revenue and guest experience
  • Liaise with other Four Seasons properties and local Reservations Managers to share best practices and enhance performance
