Job Description

Applications are invited for a Research Scientist to join the Quadram Institute Bioscience (Norwich, UK) to support the development and application of organoid-based models.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and apply organoid-based models
  • contribute to development and applications of microphysiological systems (MPS) including organ-on-chip technologies
  • contribute to a wide variety of projects
  • provide training to MPS platform users
  • contribute to development of advanced MPS models

Requirements

  • PhD in Biological Sciences
  • previous research experience in the area of intestinal organoids
  • competent in a variety of cell biology techniques including organoid culture, flow cytometry, microscopy and transcriptomics

Nice to have

  • Experience of host-microbiota interactions
