As a Research Scientist I - Mass Spectrometry, you will play a pivotal part in laboratory testing and analytical method development, utilizing cutting-edge mass spectrometry techniques, particularly LC-MS/MS. Job Responsibility:
Support R&D Projects: Engage in laboratory testing as part of research and development initiatives
Method Development and Validation: Participate in the development, evaluation, and validation of new analytical methods
Documentation and Compliance: Document and review results in electronic laboratory notebooks
Procedure Management: Create and update equipment and analytical procedures
Data Interpretation: Analyze experimental data and present conclusions
Protocol Writing: Write comprehensive protocols and reports in English
Quality Assurance: Uphold quality system requirements
Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain laboratory reagents, materials, and equipment
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences) with 5+ years of experience
or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
or a PhD with 0+ years of experience
Proficient in mass spectrometry and chromatography
Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships across functional and geographical boundaries
Ability to present technical results to both technical and non-technical audiences
A proactive attitude with independent ownership of analysis and results
A solid understanding of ICH guidelines and current Good Practice (cGxP) standards
Ability to challenge the status quo, adapt to changes, and work collaboratively in a team environment
Skills to identify risks, issues, and opportunities, effectively communicating them to supervisors and customers
