Job Description

As the Research Nurse in Epilepsy Clinical Trials, you will coordinate all aspects of clinical trials undertaken by the trials team, along with other Research nurses at the Epilepsy Research Centre. You will work closely with the Epilepsy Clinical Trials Manager, Principal Investigators, Medical team, Research Nurses, and other members of the team.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and conduct all administrative and clinical aspects of epilepsy trials for patients as per approved trial protocols
  • Participate in direct patient care as part of clinical trial activities
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and in partnership with patients, their families and carers to plan and adapt the requirements of the trial
  • Participate in education, research tasks and support systems, as well as professional leadership development opportunities

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse registered, with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Board of Australia
  • Relevant clinical experience, or clinical trials experience
  • Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities and using your own initiative
  • Exceptional organisational skills, including meticulous attention to detail
