This position is for a strategy internship with the Microsoft Health Futures group at Microsoft Research in Redmond (USA). Health Futures is responsible for research, incubation, product engineering, and strategic partnerships that drive cross-company strategy, as well as value creation in the health and life sciences. We are an interdisciplinary team of researchers, scientists, engineers, biotechnologists, designers, social scientists, strategists, healthcare experts, and medical professionals who endeavor to develop next-generation methods and tools for health and healthcare. Specifically, we are responsible for guiding the overall strategic vision of the organization, executing cross-functional operations, and leading partnership development in early stages of the project funnel, as well as closely supporting our research teams throughout the duration of their research. We are looking for a Research Intern to join the Strategy & Operations team within Health Futures. You will be paired with mentors and play a critical role in the success of our current and future program investments by developing meaningful analyses from market and scientific data. The role will require an interdisciplinary approach and willingness to collaborate widely with projects and stakeholders across Health Futures and the broader Microsoft organization.
