The Algorithms group at MSR Redmond is looking for doctoral students to work on theoretical computer science, in particular, algorithms for approximate nearest neighbor search, erasure coding for distributed storage, scheduling theory, algorithms for massive data, and theoretical aspects of Large Language Models. Our researchers and interns have been conducting influential research published in top-tier venues such as STOC, FOCS, SODA, NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR.
