CSIRO’s Research Ethics & Integrity Office is seeking a Research Integrity Support Officer (ePublish) to play a key role in supporting the organisation’s publication processes. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for user support and monitoring of ePublish, CSIRO’s internal publication risk management and quality assurance system. You will work closely with researchers across CSIRO to resolve user issues, deliver training, contribute to system development and reporting, while providing broader administrative support to ensure the effective operation of the Research Integrity Team.
Job Responsibility:
Provide high-quality support to users of the ePublish system, including troubleshooting, resolving user/system errors, and liaising with internal and external technical support providers
Maintain and deliver user training, update system documentation, and support system development and reporting
Provide administrative support to research integrity processes (including monitoring key communication channels, coordinating Research Integrity Advisor appointments/renewals/retirements, records management, and supporting meetings and training)
Assist with data collection and preparation of reports to meet research integrity and broader organisational compliance requirements
Support development of communication and resources that promote good research practice across CSIRO (e.g., resources/newsletters/website content and staff communications)
Contribute to process documentation to enable consistent, effective service delivery and support future development of the next generation ePublish system
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience providing user support for information or records management systems supporting organisational processes and compliance
High-level administrative capability, including coordination of communications, records, scheduling, meetings and training
Ability to interpret policies/procedures and provide clear, consistent advice
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence delivering training
Proven ability to prioritise, work with ambiguity, meet deadlines, and adapt to change
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to learn new systems, and manage competing priorities
Collaborative working style and ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
High proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Nice to have:
A relevant tertiary qualification in a scientific, information or communications technology, and/or equivalent experience in a research environment
Experience supporting working with publication management systems
