We seek to appoint an experienced Research Fellow in Law to develop and manage knowledge exchange projects within the legal field. This post is through the University Higher Education Innovation Fund allocation and is intended to be income generating with a return on investment expectation in line with HEIF objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and manage knowledge exchange projects within the legal field
Work closely with law colleagues and the Director of the Legal Advice centre as well as colleagues in the Research Office and the Institute for Social Justice and Crime
Be income generating with a return on investment expectation in line with HEIF objectives
Requirements:
Experience of success in one or more of the following areas: Developing and running knowledge transfer partnerships (KTPs)
Law and AI adviser knowledge exchange with small and medium sized enterprises
Developing CPD or micro credential knowledge exchange workshops
Developing micro KTPs or knowledge exchange sprints
Running knowledge exchange clinics on AI compliance, contracts or IP
Developing larger successful KE funding bids
Able to lead knowledge exchange projects and the portfolio of knowledge exchange work
Work well with the Director of the Legal Advice centre
Enthusiastic, friendly, innovative and talented knowledge exchange professional with significant legal knowledge
Nice to have:
Qualified solicitor, barrister or legal academic
Able to give legal advice as part of the job role
Proven track-record of income generation
