Your mission as a (Senior) Research Consultant (m/f/d): We are looking for a (Senior) Research Consultant (m/f/d) with a passion for reporting, insights generation and storytelling to join our strong Research Consulting Team. In this role, you will be in charge of advising and coaching enterprise clients throughout the entire market research process, from finding the right methodology and writing the questionnaires to charting, interpreting, and presenting the results for a multitude of different projects. You are a true sparring partner, exciting clients about customer centricity, agile market research, and innovative research methods. You will play a critical role in the effective communication of insights generated in our market-research studies to our clients, focusing on engaging storytelling. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for creating, interpreting, and presenting both top-level and in-depth reports in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring they align with client reporting expectations and meet their specific needs.
Job Responsibility:
Sparring partner for a variety of clients in the creation, adaptation, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of various market-research projects
Creation of study designs (e.g., method, target group, sample size)
Conception of bespoke questionnaires across a multitude of use cases (e.g., U&A, tracking, concept testing, creative testing, MaxDiff, Conjoint)
Analysis and interpretation of market-research results to give clients hands-on recommendations for actions
if needed by creating in-depth reports yourself (including charting, design, and writing of insights)
Presentation of insights to clients, with a strong focus on storytelling, actionability, and clear recommendations
Close cooperation with the Research Operations team in the set-up of questionnaires and fieldwork on the Appinio platform
Close cooperation with the sales team in the implementation of initial projects for new customers
Project management and strategic development of our research processes and the Appinio products
Requirements:
Hold a degree in psychology, marketing, market research, statistics, or similar data-related fields
Profound knowledge of quantitative market research and/or research methods & statistics
Several years of experience in supporting and consulting enterprise and / or FMCG customers - ideally, in SaaS, management consulting, or advertising/communication
Experience with market research, writing questionnaires, conceptualising studies, and a variety of market-research methods and use cases
Experience creating reports based on market-research data, with strong skills in PowerPoint and / or Google Slides
Experience generating actionable insights from data, with an aptitude for storytelling to make results easy to understand for clients
Experience presenting market-research results to client-side stakeholders, ideally across multiple departments and job levels
Speak a proficient level of English and Spanish (written and spoken)
Excellent communication skills, a hands-on mentality, pragmatism, and proactivity, as well as an affinity for numbers and data
