Job Description:

The Research Associate, will be based in our Tokyo office and his/her role will report to and work alongside a senior analyst as part of a team focusing on listed public equities. Citi Research focuses on delivering high quality investment insights to credit investors on a global basis with a high emphasis on independence and objectivity in its products and insights. The unit produces regular written research, hosts investor meetings with company management teams, holds conference calls with industry consultants and regularly communicates with clients.

Job Responsibility:

Maintaining & updating existing company models
creating new models
maintaining relative value sheets
Assist with the publication of earnings previews/recaps, initiation reports, deep dive notes as well other group products
Assist with client inquires and requests (internal and external)
Assist with coordination of investor meetings and conference calls with consultants

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
Native level Japanese and Business level English ability
1-3 years of previous experience
Knowledge of Finance or Accounting
High proficiency in excel skill
