Research Associate

• Investigating adverse events and the impact of having adverse events in adults and adolescents with rheumatic diseases such as inflammatory arthritis who receive common immune drugs (e.g. methotrexate)
• Performing quantitative research using data of large observational studies
• Working in Workstream 5 to investigate 'Safe, acceptable prescribing and monitoring of common immune drugs (e.g. methotrexate) in people living with arthritis'

• PhD in epidemiology, data science, public health, statistics or equivalent
• Good understanding of applying various statistical analysis (e.g. multivariate regression analysis, longitudinal analysis)
• Good understanding of real world data and in interrogating observational large datasets
• Desirable: understanding of Natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning to analyse text data
