We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Research Associate - Youth Endowment Fund. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation and process evaluation strand of a randomised controlled trial of the London Sexual Violence programme, funded by the Youth Endowment Fund. The successful candidate will lead the Implementation and Process Evaluation, working with researchers from the Manchester Institute for Education, the Department of Criminology, the Division of Population Health, Health Services Research and Primary Care, the University of Bristol's School of Education, and the London Sexual Violence team at the national charity, Brook.
Job Responsibility
Lead the trial's implementation and process evaluation (IPE)
Liaise with schools and other partners to support the planning, delivery and reporting of the IPE
Generate and analyse qualitative IPE data
Lead on the development of reports and publications using the IPE data
Support the trial manager and project team in the delivery of the quantitative/impact and intervention costing strands of the project
Requirements
A good (2:1 or above) undergraduate degree
Master's degree in psychology, education, or another relevant discipline
PhD (completed or submission pending) in psychology, education, or another relevant discipline
Experience working with young people in (preferably secondary) schools (e.g., as a researcher or practitioner)
Experience and skills in qualitative data generation (e.g., interviews, focus groups, observations, and creative/participatory methods)

Knowledge and experience of economic evaluation of school-based interventions
relationships and sex education
