Job Description:

The project will be focused on conducting comparative life cycle assessments of the cradle-to-grave impacts of a range of natural, biosynthetic and chemically-synthesized macromolecular cryoprotectants, extending to techno-economic analyses of the most promising candidates.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct comparative life cycle assessments of the cradle-to-grave impacts of a range of natural, biosynthetic and chemically-synthesized macromolecular cryoprotants
  • Extend to techno-economic analyses of the most promising candidates
  • Report directly to Professor Matthew I. Gibson
  • Work on a daily basis with Prof Shaver and his team

Requirements:

  • Strong research and publication track record
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and finish (including publishing) projects
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and teamworking skills
