The Research Centres and Hubs Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support for all research centre and hubs, lab, and network activities at London College of Fashion (LCF), working directly with the Directors of the college's research centres including the Centre for Fashion Curation, The Centre for Sustainable Fashion, and the Centre for Fashion Business Research, and the RKE hub, lab, and network leads. This role ensures the smooth operation of centre activities while supporting strategic initiatives, research grant processes, financial monitoring procedures, and daily administrative and coordination requirements across all focussed RKE activities.
Job Responsibility:
Provides comprehensive administrative support for all research centre and hubs, lab, and network activities
Ensures the smooth operation of centre activities while supporting strategic initiatives, research grant processes, financial monitoring procedures, and daily administrative and coordination requirements
Delivering targeted administrative support to individual centres while serving as a liaison role that maintains cross-centre data coordination and supports research and knowledge exchange process compliance activities
Provides administrative support for the hubs, labs, and networks, external partnerships, internal and external events, and the cultural programming of research and knowledge exchange activities
Work collaboratively with colleagues, providing mutual support and covering duties as required
Confident liaison with senior colleagues and the ability to work effectively across multiple concurrent projects and diverse stakeholder groups
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Administration, Finance, or related discipline)
Experience in research administration or related experience in the creative sector
Communicates effectively orally, in writing and/or using visual media
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Understanding of grant management systems and tools
Ability to analyse data and generate reports
Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in a research context
Commitment to ethical research practices and integrity
Plans, prioritises and organises work to achieve objectives on time
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Works collaboratively in a team or with different professional groups, ensuring the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion are upheld
