Research Analyst – Cryptocurrency / DeFi – Python / SQL. They are now hiring a Research Analyst with strong analytical skills (SQL / Python) who can turn Cryptocurrency insight into clear, engaging research that clients genuinely value. You will gain unique exposure to real digital assets insights, shaping critical thought leadership for a global client base which includes many of the biggest and most recognised names in Investment Management and Trading.
Job Responsibility:
Using SQL and Python (Pandas) to pull and analyse Digital Assets and Cryptocurrency market data from different sources
Leveraging Cryptocurrency data and insights to produce deeply valuable and engaging written thought leadership and publications for Trading and Investment clients
Liaising directly with end-clients to become an SME in what cryptocurrency insights Trading and Investment businesses are interested in, to feed into product development
Requirements:
A background working in the Trading, Investment Management or Cryptocurrency Industry
A strong proven understanding of the cryptocurrency/DeFi world either commercially or through deep personal research
Strong data manipulation and analytical experience with SQL and Python (Pandas) with a proven ability to derive insights from complex datasets
An exceptional ability and proven experience of write engaging and thought-provoking research publications from financial asset insights (ideally digital assets)
Experience with Layer 1 and Layer 2 architectures as well as on-chain data tools (e.g. Nansen, Dune or Glassnode)
