Join our SuperRatings Research team in a hands-on role ideal for recent graduates looking to launch their career in financial services through data entry, research support, and cross-team collaboration! As a Research Administrator, you will play a key part in reviewing Product Disclosure Statements and entering critical data into our research database for superannuation and pension products. Working closely with the Research Manager and Analyst, you'll help collect, organise, and maintain accurate product information that supports deeper insights for our clients. This role offers a great opportunity to build foundational skills in data management, research, and financial product analysis, all within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Job Responsibility:
Collect and upload superannuation and pension fund data from websites and surveys, including fees, investment options, and insurance details
Maintain data accuracy and consistency in the research database through structured processes
Stay informed on industry trends and contribute ideas to improve data collection and delivery
Prepare outputs for peer review and ensure high standards of quality and integrity
Support knowledge management by organising and maintaining reliable data for future use
Perform additional tasks as directed to support team operations
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Prior experience in the superannuation industry, with a solid understanding of fund structures, regulatory obligations, and disclosure requirements
Previous roles in financial services, ideally involving data handling, compliance, or product analysis
Strong data interpretation and analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and ensure accuracy
Solid understanding of financial documents such as Product Disclosure Statements and Annual Reports, and familiarity with investment products and asset classes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), Word, and Outlook
Excellent attention to detail, written communication, and time management skills
You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia eg. Citizen or Permanent Resident
