Job Description:

The Research Administration Coordinator (RAC) plays a key role in managing the financial and research activities of N-CRESS. Working closely with the N-CRESS Manager, you will oversee study budgets, negotiate clinical trial contracts, handle invoices and prepare financial reports. This role also supports the important administrative processes of our clinical trials and research projects, and you will oversee our ethics and governance submissions and develop excellent relationships with researchers, supporting hospital departments, sponsors and regulatory stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparing research documents for Ethics/governance submission and facilitating their smooth transition through to approval
  • Overseeing purchasing, invoicing, payment requests and reimbursements on behalf of N-CRESS
  • Reviewing and administering Clinical Trial Agreements and study budgets
  • Liaising with other members of the research team to track clinical trials activity

Requirements:

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and analytical rigour
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, including punctuation, spelling and grammar
  • Excellent team-working skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent time management
