Job Description:

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking Requisition Technician to work on a 12-month assignment in their facilities in El Dorado, KS.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the Purchase Requisition (PR) Technical Screener, acting as the liaison between vendors and internal requestors
  • Process approved material orders and service contract procurement actions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standard procedures
  • Conduct product research on vendor websites as requested by engineers and planners
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, and Coupa to create and maintain reports and spreadsheets tracking incoming materials
  • Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on existing orders in coordination with warehouse personnel
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding late deliveries and resolve related issues
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year of experience in procurement, inventory management, or customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, SAP, Coupa, and related software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and environments
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on timely support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) prior to employment
  • Ability to pass a drug screening test and refinery safety overview (RSO) training prior to employment
  • Must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa support
