Job Description:

Ensure that system-level requirements are properly defined, managed & documented, throughout the project lifecycle and specialize in system verification planning, ensuring that all system level requirements are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards. This role is critical for defining the boundary conditions and constraints in early stages of project development through well-determined design inputs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze user & stakeholder needs and flow down them to elicit, define & manage system requirements by conduct thorough reviews with cross
  • Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices from requirements to test evidence and ensure requirements are testable, verifiable, and aligned with project objectives, collaborate with the test planning engineer to ensure requirements are adequately covered in test plans
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on system requirement feasibility and traceability matrix
  • Develop comprehensive system level test plans and test cases based on system requirements in co-ordination with cross functional team
  • Ensure test plans are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards and provide regular updates on progress and results to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in engineering or design & innovation
  • Broad technical background in product development with in-depth knowledge of requirements management
  • Proficient in translating user needs, stakeholder requirements and other technical constraints into detailed product/system requirements
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive)
  • Experience in working with ALM tools like IBM DOORS, Polarion or equivalent
  • Exposure to model-based systems engineering applications using SysML is preferred
  • Skilled in problem-solving, with a sharp analytical mindset
  • Good stakeholder management skills and able to effectively communicate with a cross-functional team
