Job Description:

The Reporting Solutions team in Seattle is responsible for delivering white‑glove reporting services to our most bespoke clients in the AMRS region. Adopting a client‑first approach, the team owns the end‑to‑end compilation of reporting packs using BlackRock proprietary technology.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyse client requirements and deliver periodic client reports to demanding target dates
  • Analysing trends in data requests to constantly improve service and client reports
  • Understanding the flow of client, market and fund information across BlackRock and external data providers
  • Leading and ensuring timely and accurate distribution of all deliverables
  • actively communicating potential delays to clients/internal stakeholders
  • Constantly evaluating systems, processes and procedures for inefficiencies and making recommendations for improvement
  • Use BlackRock's technology to provide efficient and scalable solutions, as well as regular application of Excel to customized solutions
  • Supporting and eventually own various projects, including automation/standardization efforts and the evolution of standard reporting
  • Understanding the risk environment within the department – promoting risk awareness, assessment and control

Requirements:

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate to advanced skills such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
  • VBA experience is desirable
  • Keen interest in investment products with a preference of 3+ years of financial services experience, especially client onboarding, communications or data visualization
  • Keen interest in understanding dataflows within applications
  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment
  • willingness to ask questions but also to learn independently
  • Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines and to prioritize work with strong emphasis on time management
  • Able to exercise sound judgment and to appropriately document conclusions
