Job Responsibility

  • Performs a variety of duties related to the troubleshooting and repair of terminals down to the component level and boards, under general supervision
  • Tests equipment to determine cause of failure
  • Uses schematics and/or technical manuals in the repair/maintenance of terminal boards, etc
  • Component level troubleshooting of PC boards and sub-assemblies using oscilloscope, multi- meter, etc
  • Maintains log of incoming and outgoing terminals and repairs using data entry work station
  • Inspects terminal, circuits, etc. for damage
  • Cleans interior/exterior of terminal, boards, etc
  • Assists field service technicians with terminal related problems or in obtaining necessary supplies
  • Maintains terminals used in agent training as needed
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds. Loading/unloading trucks
  • Operates various equipment/machines including computer, oscilloscope, multi- meter, forklift, etc
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Electronics preferred
  • One or more years of related work experience
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds
