Job Description

This is a finance position that is responsible for salvaging, recouping and repacking products.

Job Responsibility

  • Assess and sort all damaged products for recouping
  • Collaborate directly with warehouse management to control shrink
  • Cooperate indirectly with merchandising to ensure proper packaging from vendors
  • Assist with developing a reconciliation program
  • Work with inventory control to assist in reducing company shrink
  • Keep the area clean and neat at all times

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 months of related warehouse distribution experience preferred
  • 18+ years of age
  • Submit to pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)
  • Able to read, write and communicate effectively, as it relates to the job and the safety regulations
  • Can read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
  • Able to print and speak simple sentences
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Computer skills
  • Capable of applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
