Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Rental Assistance Program Manager to oversee outreach initiatives and drive community engagement efforts. This Contract to permanent position is based in San Francisco, California, and offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting individuals with essential resources. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for building community partnerships.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to enhance awareness of programs and services offered
  • Establish and nurture relationships with local organizations, businesses, agencies, and community stakeholders
  • Coordinate and participate in community events, workshops, and presentations to boost engagement
  • Monitor and assess the results of outreach activities, preparing detailed reports for leadership
  • Create and manage outreach materials, such as flyers, newsletters, and presentations
  • Address inquiries from prospective clients, volunteers, and partner organizations in a timely manner
  • Conduct client outreach, including in-person visits to client locations, requiring local travel
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with overall organizational objectives
  • Guide and support staff or peers to improve their performance and meet expectations
  • Maintain high administrative standards by organizing tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines consistently

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management, residential or commercial leasing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in using Yardi software or similar property management tools
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a focus on accountability and efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively and deliver results
  • Experience coaching or mentoring team members to enhance performance
  • Willingness to travel locally to meet clients at or near their locations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining community partnerships

Nice to have

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred but not mandatory
