Job Description

As a Renewals Negotiator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our landlords and tenants are contacted three months prior to the end of their tenancy in order to successfully renew the contract. You will represent the landlord to ensure that we are achieving the best outcome for them in relation to extending the tenancy but you will also offer advice to tenants and answer any questions they may have. Whether or not a tenancy agreement is renewed, you will be responsible for handling all tenancy paperwork in accordance with legislative requirements to ensure that the process is as smooth as possible for all parties involved. As a Renewals Negotiator you will need to provide exceptional customer service to all landlords and tenants as well as demonstrate key sales skills in order to maximise revenue growth for the business.

Requirements

  • Ensuring landlords and tenants are contacted 90 days prior to the original contract end in order to minimise any risk of a void period for the landlord
  • Maintaining a high renewal rate and delivering on department KPIs
  • Keeping up-to-date with all lettings compliance and litigation and advising our clients of any changes that may affect them
  • Ensuring that all paperwork is handled correctly and that all legal responsibilities are carried out prior to a renewal deal being completed
  • Building and maintaining a fantastic working relationship with various departments at Foxtons involved in the lettings process
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all landlords and tenants
  • Demonstrate key sales skills in order to maximise revenue growth for the business

  • Ensuring all other methods of placements (including lineslips, master policies and consortium contracts) are reviewed and approved in line with Beazley and Lloyd's processes
