Job Description

In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our Renewables Technical Sales team, providing the essential support needed to bridge the gap between initial customer interest and technical execution. As a Renewables Estimator & Sales Support Coordinator, you will manage the administrative and estimating workflow, ensuring our customers receive accurate, timely, and professional quotations for sustainable heating solutions. You’ll be working at the heart of a team facing incredible growth. Your mission is to streamline our processes, manage customer enquiries from our branch networks, and provide the technical data needed to help our customers transition to renewable energy.

Job Responsibility

  • Produce accurate estimates and quotations for renewable technologies (including Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar PV) based on customer requirements and technical specifications
  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming renewable enquiries, managing the CRM and tracking project progress from lead to order
  • Maintain and update product databases, kit builders, and pricing structures to ensure all sales materials are current and technically sound
  • Provide exceptional support to our branch network and direct customers, answering queries regarding lead times, product availability, and basic technical specifications
  • Work closely with the supply chain and branches to ensure orders are processed smoothly and delivered on time for customer projects
  • Assist the Renewables Manager by providing regular updates on sales pipelines, conversion rates, and enquiry volumes

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Estimating, Sales Support, or Project Coordination role, ideally within the Plumbing, Heating, or Construction sector would be ideal, if not then an eagerness to learn
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal colleagues and external customers
  • An interest in Renewable Energy
  • knowledge of MCS standards or heat loss calculations is a significant advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy
