Job Description

We are now looking to further extend our renewables team by recruiting a professional engineer, who has prior project management experience with solar or battery projects, to be based out of our Stockport office.

Requirements

  • A good electrical, mechanical or renewables based degree
  • Project management experience gained during the development, construction or operational phases of ground mount solar farm or BESS projects
  • Previous experience of using industry standard software to make solar resource and energy yield assessments
  • Have contributed to feasibility studies, technical reports and design reviews in a previous role
  • Experience in the financing of renewable energy projects, ideally including technical due diligence exposure
  • Good understanding of the key technical risks with solar projects, including the ability to identify potential technical design or installation risks
  • The ability to correctly interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, models, specifications and functional descriptions
  • Able and willing to travel in the UK and EU for client meetings, site visits, factory tests, etc
  • Able to work in the UK without any visa restrictions
