Proven experience bringing at least one utility-scale project to ready-to-build in at least one of the following markets: AESO, IESO, ERCOT, PJM, MISO, or SPP
3+ years in energy project development (renewable energy preferred)
Able to independently manage workload, shifting priorities and problem solving with sound judgement and appropriate collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Proven, effective project management and organizational skills
Knowledge of permitting and interconnection processes
Ability to integrate environmental and social considerations into project design and account for construction requirements when securing permits
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

Job Responsibility

Own the full development cycle – from site selection and land acquisition to permitting, interconnection, and stakeholder engagement
Manage timelines, budgets, and milestones to deliver ready-to-build renewable energy projects
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and construction experts—to align project goals and ensure seamless execution
Build and maintain relationships with landowners, Indigenous communities, public officials, and industry partners
Lead consultants and cross-functional teams to meet project goals
Monitor policy, regulatory, and market trends to shape project strategy

Minimum of 2 years in accounting or finance
Knowledge of SAP, general financial reporting software, and applicable power and utilities platforms used for invoicing and recording is needed
