Job Description:

At IKEA, our vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people. We believe that everything we do comes with the responsibility to create a positive impact on people, society and the planet. We are passionate about home furnishing, creating a positive life at home and sharing our tasty responsibly sourced food with the many people across the world.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading a team of co-workers in a remote (contact centre-based) setting, focused on selling our product range to business customers — from generating leads to supporting planning and purchasing decisions
  • Contributing to the unit’s business plan and supporting your team to maximise sales performance and meet shared goals
  • Ensuring your team understands how to navigate a business customer journey through an omnichannel retail environment and takes quick, proactive action based on commercial opportunities and customer feedback
  • Strong understanding of our business customers' needs and providing tailored furnishing solutions — including recommending add-on products and using cross-selling and upselling techniques to enhance the customer offer
  • Creating an inspiring and supportive team culture in a remote contact centre setting, while developing trust and strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders to support the overall remote selling function

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide and support diverse teams in achieving shared goals, ideally within a call centre or remote sales setting
  • A coaching mindset and a genuine desire to help others succeed — you’re skilled at developing people and building high-performing, engaged teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with a wide range of stakeholders and build trust with customers and co-workers alike
  • A strategic and customer-focused approach, tailoring solutions to meet the specific needs of our business customers and supporting your team to do the same
  • A hands-on, organised way of working — you’re comfortable managing competing priorities and leading your team through change
  • A track record of delivering results by setting clear action plans, following up on performance, and driving continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, to support planning, reporting, and communication
What we offer:
  • 5 weeks’ Paid Annual Leave, Paid Parental Leave, Family & Community Leave and much more
  • 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Program for health and wellbeing support
  • 15% Co-worker discount
  • Low-cost nutritious meals including complimentary drinks in our Co-worker restaurant
  • Co-worker uniform provided
  • Free Co-worker parking
  • Benefits membership (savings and discounts on everyday expenses, entertainment, retail and well-being offers across hundreds of retailers and service providers)
  • Bonus programme (where eligible)
  • Co-worker Loyalty programme (extra contribution to your superannuation fund where eligible)
