Job Description:

Are you ready to take on a hands-on role at a global leader in access solutions? Join our team at SKIDATA as a Remote Support Specialist for the Brussels area and surroundings, where you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced access control and parking systems. This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience while working directly with customers and ensuring the optimal performance of our systems. This full-time position is ideal for people who enjoy working in a dynamic, customer-oriented role. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to key projects that ensure the smooth operation of SKIDATA's systems in our Parking Solution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install and maintain SKIDATA's access control and parking management systems and ensure optimal performance in Brussels and the surrounding area
  • Act as the face of SKIDATA, maintain strong relationships with customers, and ensure that they are satisfied with our products and services
  • Diagnose and resolve problems on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to our clients' business operations
  • Work independently on projects, with flexibility in prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing customer needs
  • Available for on-call duties (every 5 weeks) to ensure the systems remain operational outside regular working hours

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
  • Eager to learn and want to grow in a customer-oriented, practical engineering role
  • Interested in IT and enjoy working with technology
  • Experience with updates or patching (software updates)
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy working independently, but are also a team player
  • Fluent Dutch and can manage in French and English
  • Flexible, proactive, and enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic field service position
