The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is the first step in our sales career path. SDRs work directly with prospective customers to validate insurance inquiries and prepare them for conversations with our licensed sales agents. This role is designed for motivated salespeople who want to develop their skills, learn the insurance industry, and earn the opportunity to become a licensed insurance agent.
Job Responsibility:
Speak with inbound leads and confirm intent, budget, and timeline
Validate and update customer information including household, vehicle, and property details
Collect missing information required for quoting and underwriting
Use internal tools to determine the appropriate next step for each lead
Transfer qualified customers to licensed sales agents
Requirements:
Love talking to customers and building rapport quickly
Are competitive and motivated by performance and growth opportunities
Thrive in fast-paced environments with high customer interaction
Pay close attention to details and follow structured processes
Are comfortable working with multiple systems and tools
