Job Description:

We are a physiotherapy practice aiming to help people get back to their best. We are looking to expand our remedial massage services and are looking for a therapist who would like to start part time and build to full time. You will be part of a team in an allied health setting, working alongside physiotherapists to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide remedial massage treatments for patients
  • Discuss and co-treat patients requiring additional therapies such as physio or exercise
  • Educate patients on follow-up care within your scope of practice
  • Complete required notes on our digital practice management system
  • Contribute to team marketing
  • Attend and contribute to Professional Development
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, 1:1 support meetings and professional training sessions
  • Uphold our cultural values and bring energy and enthusiasm to the clinic

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Diploma in Remedial Massage (Australian Qualifications Framework)
  • Must be registered with a Governing Industry body (ATMS, ARM, ANTA, AAMT)
  • Must be able to register with the Private Health Insurance funds to obtain a provider number with Medibank
  • Must be able to work in Australia
  • Must currently live in Australia
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be keen to grow skills and learn from senior RMT and physios
  • Must believe in the strength of teamwork
  • Must show initiative and perseverance
  • Must have a problem-solving mindset
  • Must hold themselves to high standards
