Job Description:

We don't just rent cars; we sell them too! That is why we are looking for Remarketing Manager to oversee sales and disposals of used vehicles in Victoria and Tasmania. Reporting to the Pacific Remarketing Manager you will manage the sales of vehicles that have come to the end of their rental life cycle to a network of buyers through wholesale or dealer channels. This hands-on automotive role will see you owning the end-to-end remarketing execution for Victoria and Tasmania, ensuring vehicles are sold efficiently, profitably, and in line with market conditions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee sales and disposals of used vehicles in Victoria and Tasmania
  • manage the sales of vehicles that have come to the end of their rental life cycle to a network of buyers through wholesale or dealer channels
  • own the end-to-end remarketing execution for Victoria and Tasmania, ensuring vehicles are sold efficiently, profitably, and in line with market conditions
  • actively sell vehicles, negotiate with buyers, and manage a competitive dealer network to maximise Gain on Sale (GOS) and minimise days to sale
  • work closely with Fleet, Operations, and senior leadership to align fleet supply with market demand and optimise financial outcomes

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in used-vehicle sales, automotive remarketing, or dealership operations with a proven track record of selling vehicles and negotiating with automotive buyers
  • hands-on experience managing dealer or wholesale sales channels
  • exposure to fleet management or automotive finance environments with experience in fleet remarketing or large-scale vehicle disposal programs (beneficial)
  • strong understanding of the automotive used-vehicle market and dealership sales models
  • understanding of residual value drivers and fleet lifecycle management being advantageous
  • proven selling and negotiation capability within an automotive context
  • experience working with high-volume fleet or rental vehicle portfolios being highly favourable
  • ability to analyse pricing, demand, and sales performance to drive outcomes
  • experience managing sales performance against financial and operational targets

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to fleet management or automotive finance environments with experience in fleet remarketing or large-scale vehicle disposal programs
  • understanding of residual value drivers and fleet lifecycle management
  • experience working with high-volume fleet or rental vehicle portfolios
